Madagascar: Africa Region IV Golf host

Madagascar will host this year’s Africa Region IV Golf Championship.

The championship will take place between 25th to 29th November 2025 at the Golf du Rova course, Andakana in Antananarivo city.

A total of nine countries are expected for this championship to include the hosts Madagascar, Kenya, Uganda, Mauritius, La Reunion, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Seychelles.

So far, Kenya the defending champions have already confirmed their participation and willingness to defend their crown.

The others to follow suit are host country Madagascar, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Mauritius and Uganda.

According to the president of the Africa Golf Confederation, Johnson Omollo, Rwanda and Seychelles are expected to confirm their participation soon.

Kenya has won this championship since 2022 when Uganda hosted the event, 2023 in Ethiopia and lately in Kigali, Rwanda in 2024.

Team Uganda is expected to embark on preparations for this championship under head coach Flavia Namakula.
